About the role
Taking the lead on digital at a Belfast-born, London-based hospitality studio whose work has rebranded a hotel flag across more than 200 properties globally and turned a single bar into one of the most awarded hospitality brands in America. Twenty-two people, three studios, four disciplines under one roof – and a client roster that runs from neighbourhood cafés to the world’s largest hotel groups.
Digital here isn’t an execution layer. The web team sits in the room from day one, alongside strategy, branding and interiors. The Managing Director puts it plainly: ideas are the currency, and titles don’t decide whose idea wins.
The Role
You own the digital function. That means designing and building the sites that are often the first thing a guest, investor or operator sees of a hospitality concept – translating brand identity and creative direction into work that holds up.
It’s hands-on: custom WordPress development, front-end craft, design in Figma. You’ll mentor one junior developer, set the standards for how digital gets made, and shape the process itself. The mandate is deliberately open – the founder wants someone to find the gaps and bring in the thinking the studio is after.
The Package
£55,000 – £70,000
Four days in-studio
Based in either London or Belfast
38 days annual leave, plus early finishes on Fridays
Quarterly research stipend and monthly education and wellness stipend
Private health insurance and enhanced parental leave
Annual international team trips
The Person
A Senior Web Developer/Designer ready for their first leadership seat. Five-plus years in a studio or agency, expert hands-on WordPress including custom builds, strong front-end and Figma skills, and a portfolio of brand-led sites.
Hospitality experience is welcome but not required – premium adjacent sectors translate well. You present your own work to clients, and you’re happy to spend four days a week in the studio.
