Our client recently acquired a UK savings company to offer a new home buyers saving products and due to this rapid expansion they are looking to onboard 2 x Senior C# Developers.

What to Expect

As a Senior C# Developer you will play a vital role in the continuous development and enhancement of the core service, a .Net application that powers a widely-used mobile app. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including the development of new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of our suite of microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Lead and contribute to the end-to-end development of new features, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring they meet our quality and performance standards.
• Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize the performance of existing features, ensuring our application runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Bug Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues within our application, enhancing user experience and service reliability.
• Code Reviews and Best Practices: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and practices within the team. Mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product management, QA, and design teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Technical Investigations: Lead and participate in technical investigations to explore innovative solutions and technologies that can enhance our application’s capabilities and performance.

Skills/Experience

• Experience: At least 5 years of .Net technologies.
• Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and experience on working with cross functional teams.
• A commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
