Flood Risk Consultant

An opportunity has arisen for a Flood Risk Consultant to join a leading engineering consultancy in Liverpool. Based within the larger civil engineering team the role will focus on modelling projects within floods and drainage. It’s an exciting time to join the team. They have ambitious expansion plans for the department and anticipate excellent career progression for the right individual.

Duties will include setting up processes, conducting flood risk assessments and writing up reports, producing 2d models and working to planning constraints. There is an opportunity to expand the role and the successful applicant will be able to grow their own team as time progresses.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or similar in civil engineering or another relevant discipline and have experience in flood risk report writing. Experience of Flood Modeller would be an advantage but is not essential as the software is being implemented into the company and full training will be given. An analytical approach, meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to develop your skills is essential. There are big plans for the future of this role and it is an excellent opportunity for the right person.
