Property and Estates Manager

Our client is a highly successful firm of Chartered Surveyors, with a large and diverse portfolio of properties across the North West region. With a reputation for exceptional service and a strong presence within the Manchester community, our client has become a market leader within the property management field. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Property and Estates manager, to join their successful team based in central Manchester. We are looking for a high calibre estates manager, (qualified in either IRPM or RICS), a highly motivated, customer service lead property manager who is able to service an extremely busy portfolio. Managing a variation of residential blocks and mix used developments, you will ideally have some experience within each of these sectors. Your responsibilities within this role will include:

• Client and resident liaison
• Property Inspections and Maintenance - Inspections and Reports re communal areas of residential blocks
• Identify opportunities of improvement within a development
• Dealing with contractors, negotiating contracts
• Preparing service charge budgets for your portfolio
• Dealing with leaseholder enquiries, emails and correspondence
• Liaising with and instructing surveyors
• Overseeing section 20 and major works
• Attending resident & RMC meetings
• Managing site staff
• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation
