We’re partnering with a high-growth international business looking for an exceptional Interim Head of Technical Reporting – SOX / US GAAP Specialist to lead the technical reporting agenda across a complex EMEA operation.
If you’re the person businesses call when they need someone to stabilise reporting, strengthen controls and navigate complex US GAAP issues, this is worth a conversation.

The opportunity?

• Lead technical accounting and financial reporting across a multi-entity international business.
• Own SOX compliance, control enhancement and material weakness remediation.
• Be the go-to expert on US GAAP, supporting senior stakeholders through complex accounting matters.
• Drive accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting across the region.
• Partner with auditors, senior finance leadership and operational teams to improve processes and strengthen the control environment.

Lead and develop a sizeable finance team whilst helping build a scalable finance function. This is a business moving at pace. They need someone who enjoys solving problems, making decisions and delivering in a demanding environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven technical reporting and controllership experience within large, international organisations.
• Deep, hands-on US GAAP expertise.
• Strong SOX knowledge, including controls, testing and remediation.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• A confident leader who can influence senior stakeholders and quickly add value.
