Head of Group Finance Strategy

On of our global igaming clients is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Group Finance Strategy to join our leadership team based in Dubai.

This critical role will have direct oversight of the Group’s financial growth, international tax strategy, and operational finance across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will act as a key financial advisor to the Board, leading cross-border financial planning and ensuring optimal tax efficiency across the Group’s global entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Group Financial Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of group-wide financial growth and strategy in alignment with Board objectives.
• Dividend Oversight: Manage all Group dividend payment processes to shareholders, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency in execution.
• IP Payments Management: Oversee and manage all intercompany Intellectual Property (IP) payment structures, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal cash flow between operating companies.
• Regional Finance Supervision: Provide strategic leadership and oversight of finance functions across the Group’s regional back offices in South Africa, Dubai, Barcelona, and Malta HQ.
• International Tax Strategy: Design and execute a tax efficiency strategy for the Group, including transfer pricing, permanent establishment risks, and regulatory planning across Africa, the EU, and the Middle East.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’ senior-level finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role involving international operations.
• Proven expertise in international tax planning, with a strong understanding of structures and compliance issues in Africa, EU, and the Middle East.
• Previous experience in a multinational group environment or within regulated industries (e.g., iGaming, fintech, digital).
• Qualified accountant (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) and/or relevant advanced tax qualification (e.g., ADIT, LLM in International Tax).
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Boards and C-suite executives.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic decision-making abilities.
• High-level integrity, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
