About the role
We're Hiring: Technical Security Consultant
We're looking for an experienced Technical Security Consultant to shape and strengthen security solutions across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Duration: Perm, full time
Location: Newport, South Wales
Mode: Hybrid (2 days office)
Experience Needed: 3-5 yrs exp
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and review security architectures, ensuring robust and proportionate security controls.
- Assess technical risks and advise teams on networking, identity management, authentication and cryptography.
- Champion Secure by Design and support security governance, compliance and assurance.
- Work closely with senior security leaders and technical teams to embed security best practices
.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Security Architecture or Cyber Security.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, IAM and hybrid technologies.
- Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Secure by Design and NCSC security frameworks.
- Excellent technical risk assessment and stakeholder management skills.
Active security clearance would be an advantage.
