About the role

Tired of the corporate grind? Swap the desk for a job that actually matters.

Become a Learning Support Worker in Cranleigh and help autistic adults live life to the absolute fullest.

Ever clock out of work and wonder, "What did I actually achieve today?"

If you are naturally patient, empathetic, and love seeing others thrive, you already have the skills to excel here. You don't need years of classroom experience-we value your heart, your mindset, and your life experience above all else.

As a Learning Support Worker, you will be the catalyst that helps an autistic adult gain independence, learn a new skill, and access the vibrant local community.

What makes this role different?

  • No weekend work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (and yes, we offer part-time options too!).

  • Guaranteed Christmas Closure: Enjoy a proper festive break with loved ones, completely uninterrupted.

  • Paid to explore: One day you're teaching a creative lesson at our centre, the next you're supporting a learner at a local community event or employment opportunity.

  • Full training provided: From professional development to learning how to safely administer medication, we invest heavily in you.

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You are a "people person" who builds trust easily.

  • You have some experience caring for others (this could be professional, voluntary, or personal/lived experience with family).

  • You are resilient, calm under pressure, and comfortable supporting adults who may exhibit challenging behaviour.

  • You are comfortable providing dignity-focused personal care (such as dressing and washing) when needed.

  • You have sound literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 or equivalent preferred).

The Logistics:

  • Location: Cranleigh, Surrey

  • Salary/Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays (inc. Christmas closure)

  • Safeguarding: Because we protect vulnerable adults, this role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
