Job Overview

• Role: Customer Team Member - Home Delivery Driver

• Location: Station Road, Wigton, CA7 9AF (Must be within a commutable distance from Wigton)

• Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

• Contract Type: Permanent, part-time (16 hours per week + regular overtime)

• Working Pattern: A mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts (including at least 2 closing shifts and at least 1 weekend shift). Availability can be discussed further at interview.

• Closing Date: 29-10-2026

What You’ll Do

You’ll split your time between making home deliveries and supporting in-store tasks to help keep things running smoothly. Duties include:

• Home Deliveries: Safely and considerately drive to customers' homes, delivering shopping directly to their doors with a friendly, reliable approach.

• In-Store Operations: Work hands-on on the shop floor, serve customers on the tills, restock shelves, and pick/pack customer orders when you aren't on the road.

• Vehicle Safety & Community: Carry out vehicle checks following safe working practices, and act as a friendly face representing the store in the community while promoting Co-op membership.

What You’ll Bring

• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 points.

• Customer Focus: A friendly, helpful approach and a genuine passion for supporting people.

• Teamwork & Flexibility: Good communication skills, a positive approach to problem-solving, and the flexibility to work a range of shifts.
