Business Development Manager

We were going to advertise for a ‘Business Development Manager’. But that would be a very boring title for what is a very exciting job.

Call it what you like – but what we’re really after is someone to put the HOT into HOTEL.

Whoever takes on this role will be developing more than just business. Gotham is a way of life. A vibe. A 5-star-studded, theatrical, vibrant, stylish, dramatic experience – for guests and staff.

We want someone to reach for the stars.

 You’ll need to be energetic, charming, proactive and entrepreneurial. A bit of a multi-tasking marvel. And you’ll have the experience, ability and determination to:

• Quickly attune yourself to the Hotel Gotham and Bespoke Hotels brands
• Develop and execute a winning business development strategy.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through positive relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and key industry players.
• Conduct and act on market research, competitor analysis and performance metrics.
• Create compelling, creative proposals with your sales and marketing teams.
• Represent Hotel Gotham at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

 You’ll also have … 

• A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven communication, negotiation, time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
