Head of Services

Our client an established, growing and well respected charity based in the south west is looking to appoint a Head of Services based out of Bristol.

The Head of Services is responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of non-static services that include statutory advocacy, community advocacy and other service types, that support the sustainability and development of the charity.

The role is accountable for all aspects of delivery and the related workforce in assigned services and geographic areas which covers from Gloucestershire down to the Isle of Wight and working with a variety of stakeholders. The position would attract someone with an entrepreneurial edge and good commercial awareness.

In collaboration with the partner Head of Service this role assumes leadership and responsibility of the charities Operational Management Team. Our Head of Services are solution focused, have a high degree of personal responsibility and a willingness to operate as part of a friendly and collaborative team.

The role is based at the Bristol office but requires travel throughout the charities delivery area (travel expenses are covered for this) and can include some home/remote working.

The position would suit someone from a senior/semi-senior health and/or social care background such as a social worker, home care manager, senior nurse etc who is genuinely passionate about being a part of maintaining human rights as well as ensuring vulnerable peoples voices are heard.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of up to circa £40,000 DOE plus benefits.
