Supply Chain Team Leader

Our client, a large and growing multi-national company based in Banbury is looking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join their growing team.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure high availability of purchased parts, whilst minimising inventory levels, and recognising the selected prime supplier, lead times and sales demand influence.

Key responsibilities include:

To develop and implement a Supply Chain strategy utilising all available ordering mechanisms, forecasting tools and MRP parameters to ensure appropriate availability to service our customers in line with their expectations –

• Management and implementation of WinMan parameters

• Ordering methods & management

• Inventory control

• Supplier performance management

• KPI management

• Logistics management

Skills & Experience:

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data

• Proven negotiation and presentation skills

• Proficient in the use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (essential))

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all people at all levels, in a strong and confident manner – both in and outside of the UK

• Sound planning and time management skills

• Self-motivated and ambitious with good commercial acumen

• Proven experience within the supply chain/procurement management environment

• Willingness to learn

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible, multitask and prioritise

• Proven managerial or leadership experience and skills

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) offering a starting salary of £32,000 to £35,000 DOE plus bonus.
