Job Overview

• Role: Customer Team Member

• Location: 1-1A Hope Farm Precinct Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port, CH66 2RG (Must be within a commutable distance from Ellesmere Port)

• Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

• Contract Type: 6-month temporary contract, part-time (16 hours per week + regular overtime)

• Working Pattern: A mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts (including at least 2 closing shifts and at least 1 weekend shift). Availability can be discussed further at interview.

• Closing Date: 29-10-2026

What You’ll Do

You’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-moving Co-op store, helping deliver essential services to your local community. Duties include:

• Customer Service & Store Support: Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills to create a great shopping experience and make life easier for our customers.

• Stock & Quality Control: Keep shelves well-stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy to ensure safety and compliance.

• Community & Membership: Act as a familiar, welcoming face in Ellesmere Port, promoting Co-op membership and connecting with local initiatives and charities.

What You’ll Bring

• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
