Technical Sales Executive

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Executive to join our client’s team. The role is currently working fully remote (working from home) but covering the areas of Shrewsbury, Telford, Oswestry and surrounding areas.

You will manage and generate new accounts by professionally identifying ideal customers and working to build relationships and promote the range of products and services available.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious and adaptable, with strong commercial awareness, the ability to work in teams, use initiative and who is highly self-motivated.

Your role will involve understanding the customers IT requirements so that you can offer the best solution to meet their technical needs, providing them with the best advice and guidance.

The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with the technical aspects of the role. With this in mind, candidates with an IT or Telecoms background, looking to break into sales will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience working within the MSP environment. The position would suit an individual who has strong technical ability, good commercial awareness, excellent communication and people skills and previous sales experience.

• Generating business to business sales

Experience required:

• Any Sales/Marketing experience
• Candidates with a technical qualification or engineering experience looking to break into sales will also be considered
• Excellent communication skills
• Skilled in finding multiple routes to the source of information
• Comfortable with overcoming objections
• Attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

This is a full-time (Monday to Friday) permanent position working from home but you must be located within a commutable distance from Shrewsbury.
