The Role

As Head of Private Client, you will be responsible for overseeing the department’s day-to-day operations, supervising fee earners, and driving business growth. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities for both employed and consultancy positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the Private Client team
• Supervising fee earners and ensuring high-quality legal work
• Business development and strategic growth of the department
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies
• Managing financial performance, including billing and cash flow
• Cross-referring work and supporting firm-wide collaboration

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years PQE in Private Client law
• STEP accreditation (preferred)
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
• A proven ability to generate new business and grow a department
• A commercial mindset with a focus on financial performance
