Inspire, Support, and Transform Learning

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and committed SEN Teacher to join our team and deliver a truly personalised learning experience for our young people. If you are passionate about multi-sensory, holistic teaching and want to make a meaningful difference every day, this role offers the opportunity to do exactly that.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will have the ability to teach both Maths and Science to learners aged between 7 and 19. Working in small groups or 1:1 settings, you will deliver an engaging, flexible curriculum to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners.

You will collaborate closely with Site Lead Teachers to design innovative, multi-sensory learning experiences that support each child's individual needs, interests, and goals. Your teaching will focus on:

  • Building confidence and improving engagement.

  • Helping learners progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Ensuring safety, wellbeing, and inclusion remain at the heart of everything you do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning & Delivery: Create and review personalised learning programmes, lesson plans, and schemes of work.

  • Creative Engagement: Use varied approaches to meet diverse needs and maximise student interest.

  • Advocacy: Involve young people in decisions regarding their own learning journeys.

  • Assessment & Tracking: Support Learning Managers with learner profiles, SEN information, and progress reports.

  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to subject-specific improvements and record-keeping for commissioning bodies (e.g., EHCPs).

  • Professional Growth: Commit to ongoing development and stay updated on SEN best practices.

What We're Looking For
  • A teacher passionate about learner-centred practice and SEN education.

  • An individual who thrives in a flexible, creative environment.

  • A strong communicator capable of building positive relationships with learners, families, and colleagues.

  • A reflective practitioner eager to contribute to curriculum improvement.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience in either Maths or Science (or a willingness to undertake professional development in these areas upon appointment).

  • SEN teaching experience is preferred.

  • A relevant Level 6 qualification.

Why Join Us?

Our mission is to help every young person re-engage, rebuild confidence, and reach their full potential by placing relationships at the heart of everything we do. You will be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values creativity and believes every child deserves the chance to thrive.
