About the role

Overview

Atkins Search are recruiting for a Development Coordinator to join a growing residential developer.

We're not looking for an expert.

We're looking for somebody with energy, ambition and the confidence to make things happen.

This is an opportunity to gain exposure to the full development lifecycle, working alongside senior leaders, consultants and construction professionals to help deliver residential developments from planning through to completion.

You'll be given responsibility, trust and the freedom to grow at your own pace within a business that genuinely values initiative and rewards people who get stuck in.

If you're organised, proactive and excited by the idea of building a long-term career in residential development, we'd love to hear from you.

Client

Our client is a privately owned residential developer with a reputation for delivering high-quality homes and creating places people are proud to live.

The business is growing, investing and building an exciting pipeline of future developments. Unlike larger organisations, you'll work closely with senior decision-makers, have genuine influence and be given the opportunity to make your mark.

Why Join?

Growing residential developer.
Direct access to leadership and decision-makers.
Broad exposure across planning, design and construction.
Opportunity to shape your own career path.

Genuine responsibility from day one.
Growing business with long-term opportunities.
Role

As Development Coordinator, you'll help keep projects moving from planning through to completion.

Working alongside architects, engineers, planners, consultants and site teams, you'll coordinate information, manage key actions and ensure developments continue progressing smoothly.

No two days are the same. This role offers exposure across technical design, planning, project delivery and construction, making it an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to broaden their experience and accelerate their career.

Responsibilities

Coordinating project information and documentation.
Supporting developments from planning through to completion.
Liaising with architects, engineers, consultants and stakeholders.
Tracking actions, approvals and project deadlines.
Managing drawings and document control processes.
Attending project meetings and following up actions.
Supporting planning, technical and compliance requirements.
Identifying issues and helping drive solutions.
Supporting senior management with project delivery.
Person

We're much more interested in attitude than job title. You could currently be working within construction, housebuilding, architecture, engineering, planning, project coordination or a similar environment.

What matters is that you're:

Ambitious and eager to progress.
Organised and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Comfortable taking ownership.
Confident communicating with people.
Curious and eager to learn.
Not afraid to challenge or chase actions.
Passionate about construction and development.
We're looking for somebody who sees a problem and does something about it. Someone who wants more than just a job. Someone who wants to build a career, make an impact and grow with the business.

Remuneration

As Development Coordinator, you'll join a business that genuinely invests in its people and provides the opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career.

This is an ideal opportunity for somebody looking to gain broad exposure across residential development, accelerate their learning and become an influential part of a growing team.
