Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: 45 hours per week
Monday to Saturday on a rota basis with start times between:

• 5:30am
• 6:30am
• 7:30am
• 8:30am

Salary: £40,900 per annum

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor:

• Supervise, motivate and support Chilled Warehouse and Yard staff
• Ensure safe working practices, manual handling procedures and company standards are followed at all times
• Monitor chilled warehouse conditions, equipment performance and fridge temperatures
• Support stock rotation activities, daily stock checks and accurate completion of warehouse documentation
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Management teams to resolve operational issues efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
• Support loading and unloading activities to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround times
• Assist with training and development of warehouse operatives and team leaders
• Promote high standards of product quality, hygiene and stock accuracy
• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required

Key Skills of a Warehouse Supervisor:

• Previous experience within a warehouse supervisory or team leadership position
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Positive, flexible and hands-on approach to work
• Understanding of health and safety procedures and warehouse best practices
• Forklift Truck experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided
