4on 4off
Food manufacturing / production background required (industrial)
Shift pattern days & night – 12-hour shifts - please not the company cannot offer any other shift patterns
4on 4off - 2days - 2 nights - 4 days off hours 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

ONGOING ASSIGNMENT
Overview:
James Grace is currently recruiting for experienced production operatives ideally from food manufacturing background, to join a company based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be offered a temporary ongoing contract that could lead to a permanent opportunity with the company. Please note, strong experience within food production environment is required for this role.
Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food production, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet established specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area, following all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of food items, ensuring proper handling techniques are utilised.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and principles.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Basic maths skills for measuring ingredients and monitoring production metrics.
- Previous experience in food production is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) systems is preferred.
Shift pattern:
· 4 on 4off – meaning 2days 12 hours shift / 2 night 12 hours shift
· Hours 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
