Pay: £14.60 per hour (including shift allowance)
Shifts: 3 on, 3 off – Rotating Days & Nights
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm / 6:00pm – 6:00am (12-hour shifts)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Food Production Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, with the potential to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.

Due to the location of the site and shift patterns, own transport is essential.

The Role

As a Food Production Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production department. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene while supporting the smooth running of production lines and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating within the Production Department to ensure the efficient running of production processes and production lines.
• Monitoring and operating associated machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensuring production areas remain audit-ready at all times.
• Accurately completing all production monitoring documentation in line with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and adhering to food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is essential, ideally within food production.
• Own transport is required due to the location of the site and rotating shift pattern.
• Ability to work a 3 on, 3 off rotating shift pattern, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
