Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start Available
We are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established home delivery operation based in Tamworth on an ongoing, full-time contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 2 Driver looking for consistent work, reliable weekly earnings, and long-term stability. The operation runs 7 days a week, providing regular shifts and consistent work throughout the year.
As a Class 2 Driver, you will complete home deliveries alongside a driver's mate, ensuring goods are delivered safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable commercial driving experience.
Key Responsibilities – Class 2 Driver
Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle on scheduled home delivery routes
Deliver goods to residential customers
Work alongside a driver's mate to complete deliveries
Complete manual handling as part of the delivery process
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
Complete delivery paperwork accurately
Provide excellent customer service
Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Requirements – Class 2 Driver
Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Must be 21 years of age or over due to insurance requirements
