Atom Services Recruitment is excited to announce a job opportunity for an Assistant Chef at the Kids 1st – Low Fell Nursery (NE9 5AT) on behalf of our client. This part-time, permanent position offers a fantastic work-life balance with no evenings or weekends required. As an Assistant Chef at Kids 1st – Low Fell Nursery, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nursery chef with day-to-day activities, ranging from food preparation to cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:

Assist the nursery chef in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for the children in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
Follow safe working practices for both children and staff, ensuring compliance with food hygiene and safety policies.
Adhere to the company’s procedures concerning the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
Maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere for the children, ensuring they have a fun and enjoyable dining experience.
Collaborate with the nursery chef and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery’s kitchen.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week.

Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is a mandatory requirement for this role.
