- Welder: £14.00 to £16.00 per hour
- Time and a half after 40 hours and Saturdays
- Double time Sundays
- £20.00 per hour first 40 hours
- £22.50 per hour after 40 hours (Mon to Fri)
- £30.00 per hour weekends
This is a hands-on shopfloor role, suited to someone confident working from drawings and delivering quality welds across a range of materials.
The role
- MIG welding on mild and stainless steel
- Working from engineering drawings
- Producing high-quality welds to required standards
- Working to production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Days
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
- Monday to Friday
- 17:00 to 01:30
- Overtime available until 04:00 (Mon to Thurs)
- Weekend overtime available
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Experience within modular, chassis or caravan manufacturing would be highly beneficial
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Ideally time served or equivalent experience
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Consistent hours with regular overtime
- Strong earning potential, especially on nights
