About the role
A busy manufacturer based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire are looking for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
As a Production Operative you will be working with machinery, hand and power tools to assemble products to specification. We would ideally like to hear from candidates who have previously worked within a Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative role.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday / 8am – 5pm
- Friday / 8am – 12pm
- 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:
- £12.71 per hour
Contract type:
- Temporary ongoing
Duties of a Production Operative:
- Assembling products and working within tolerances
- Ensuring all product specifications have been followed
- Use of hand and power tools
- Working with machinery
- Measuring, weighing, and quality checking all products
- Packaging and preparing items for despatch
Skills required for this Production Operative position:
- Previous manufacturing experience is desirable as this role requires lots of attention to detail
