We are working with a highly regarded specialist education provider in Hampshire that supports children and young people with Autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), attachment difficulties and associated challenging behaviours. The setting offers small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios and a therapeutic approach to learning.
 
We are looking for caring, resilient and proactive Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to join the team immediately and for September starts.
 
The Role:• Supporting students both academically and emotionally• Working within small class groups• Building positive relationships with young people• Supporting behaviour strategies and individual learning plans• Helping students access education and achieve positive outcomes• Working closely with teachers and wider support staff
Ideal Candidates Will Have:• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, care or youth work backgrounds• Strong communication and relationship-building skills• A calm, patient and adaptable approach• Confidence managing challenging behaviour• A genuine passion for helping vulnerable young people succeed• A Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
 
Requirements:✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to transfer/register immediately)✅ Right to Work in the UK✅ Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years
