About the RoleIndependent Prep School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team from June 2026. This is a full-time position supporting children within our EYFS and Nursery setting, playing a key role in fostering a safe, engaging and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning within the EYFS/Nursery setting
Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
Provide individual and small group support to promote children’s development and school readiness
Support children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
Contribute to observations, assessments and record-keeping
Work collaboratively with teachers, staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Help maintain a safe, nurturing and well-organised learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential)
Proven experience working within an EYFS or Nursery setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
A warm, patient and proactive approach to supporting young children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for early years education
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
