The RoleAs an Injection Moulding Setter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for setting mould tools, optimising machine performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the production department.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and start moulding machines, carrying out process adjustments within defined parameters.
  
  
• Approve first-off parts and ensure products meet quality standards.
  
  
• Safely load and unload mould tools using appropriate equipment.
  
  
• Set up labellers and ancillary equipment as required.
  
  
• Monitor machine performance and maximise uptime, efficiency, and cycle times.
  
  
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot process issues, and identify tooling repair requirements.
  
  
• Support preventative maintenance and tooling service programmes.
  
  
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across production areas.
  
  
• Work closely with production teams to improve quality, productivity, and performance.
  
  
• Ensure all machinery is operated safely and in line with company Health & Safety procedures.
  
  
• Use FLTs, cranes, and lifting equipment safely where authorised.
  
  
• Promote a positive safety culture and maintain professional working relationships throughout the business.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter within a manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Strong understanding of moulding processes, tooling, and machine setting.
  
  
• Experience with process optimisation and fault-finding.
  
  
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and production targets.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  
  
• Flexible approach to working a rotating shift pattern and overtime when needed.
