Milton Keynes – Legal 500 – £45,000-£70,000
A leading regional Legal 500 commercial law firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its Milton Keynes office. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy high-quality work, genuine career progression and the chance to work alongside recognised employment specialists.
Acting for an impressive client base ranging from SMEs and owner-managed businesses to national companies and senior executives, you'll advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters within a supportive, collaborative and commercially focused environment.
The Opportunity
This role offers you a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters.
Your workload will include:
- Drafting employment contracts, policies and staff handbooks
- Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment law issues
- Settlement agreements and negotiated exits
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Redundancies, restructures and disciplinary matters
- TUPE advice and employment support on corporate transactions
- Supporting business development initiatives, networking and client training

Who you are
We are looking for an Employment Solicitor, with a good team spirit.
- Around 1–5 years' PQE
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Exposure to Employment Tribunal work
- Strong drafting and client management skills
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- An interest in business development and growing client relationships
