Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join a Global business based in Downton, Salisbury. This is a hands-on position within an international group of companies.
Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices and supporting documentation.
- Prepare recharge schedules, raise intercompany invoices and record corresponding transactions.
- Reconcile balances between the groups companies, investigating missing or mismatched entries.
- Complete agreed month ends tasks.
- Check invoice tax coding, gather information for VAT and other tax reporting.
- Working with invoices and balances in multiple currencies.
- Assist with the Asia accounting workflow, including recording incoming intercompany invoices and allocating costs to relevant projects.
- Prepare and post routine journals, including cost allocations, accruals, prepayment releases and corrections.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years previous accounts experience
- AAT qualification or equivalent is advantages
- Previous experience with foreign currencies
- Happy to take ownership and use initiative
- Experience with Sage and Quickbooks
- Experience with intercompany accounts is desirable
The Accounts Assistant role:
- Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday
- £32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience
- Fully office based
- 20 days annual leave – increasing with length of service
