We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in our East Midlands region.  The main purpose of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role is to support the Commercial Team by providing assistance to the Senior Surveyors in their day to day duties to ensure that all financial aspects of development schemes are reported and controlled.

ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out procurement of the subcontract trades.
• Assisting the Senior Surveyor with internal cost reporting and external valuations
• Assisting/ carrying out estimates and pricing variations.
• Maintaining options and incentives cost database.

ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIREMENTS:

• A talented construction professional ideally having gained experience within a major national contractor environment
• Has or is working towards a recognized degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying. 
• A rapid assimilator and analyser of information, situations and issues with a keen ability to offer solutions with maximum results.
• Integrity, presence, drive, determination, natural enthusiasm, energy and a sense of humour.
