Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30–15:00
Start Date: Immediate start available
Contract Type: Temporary, with guaranteed work until Christmas and the possibility of a permanent contract in the New Year

The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in Conwy. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for immediate work, guaranteed hours through to Christmas, and the potential to secure a permanent position in the New Year.

You will be working within a busy production environment, helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Working alongside Production Managers, Supervisors and other team members, you will play an important role in keeping production running smoothly and meeting daily targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction and Daily Operations

• Support daily production activities and ensure orders are completed efficiently.
  
  
• Monitor stock levels of trays, boxes and other packaging materials.
  
  
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  
  
• Follow food hygiene procedures and allergen controls to prevent cross-contamination.
  
  

Quality Control

• Ensure products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  
  
• Identify and report any quality concerns to the relevant supervisor.
  
  
• Help maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
  
  

Operational Support

• Report any machinery or production line issues promptly.
  
  
• Complete all required paperwork and production records accurately.
  
  
• Work towards production targets while minimising waste.
  
  
• Participate in training and support continuous improvement activities.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
  
  
• Experience within food manufacturing would be an advantage.
  
  
• A good understanding of health and safety and hygiene procedures.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  
  
• A reliable, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn.
  
  
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
