Building Control Surveyor

A new (and rare) opportunity for an experienced Building Control Surveyor (close to Chartered also considered) has been created with a medium-sized Approved Inspector that specialises in Commercial/Complex projects. You would be joining their fantastic South East team in a home-based role with London or South East site visits 1-2 days per week max (workload is all over South East, allowing them to consider Surveyors in any location).

The Role:

Acting as a Building Control Surveyor (all grades considered), working on Commercial and/or Major Projects in the South East as part of a well-established remote team of Building Control Surveyor’s. Opportunity to support the current Team Leader with mentoring/training of more junior staff for those with an interest in Management.

Person Specification:

· Proven experience in the position of a Building Control Surveyor

· Extensive experience delivering a building control service on different types of buildings and projects through the delivery of site inspections and plan checks

· MCABE/MRICS/MCIOB (or working towards)

· Candidates with experience acting as a Building Control Surveyor on Commercial and/or Complex projects will be of particular interest

· Conversant with the interpretation of building regulations, construction processes, legislation and requirements
