Senior Actuarial Consultant (Pensions)

Are you an experienced, qualified actuary?

We are partnering with one of the UK’s leading pensions firms to secure a Senior Actuarial Consultant.

This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a high-visibility consulting environment where you will have daily exposure to C-suite leaders and trustees of major corporate and multinational clients. You’ll take ownership of client portfolios, direct complex projects, and provide high-level strategic advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Leadership: Act as the main day-to-day contact for key clients, building strong relationships and helping expand services.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise clients on major pensions issues, including valuations, funding negotiations, integrated risk management, and risk settlement projects.
• Project Direction: Lead and project-manage large assignments like actuarial valuations and factor reviews.
• Technical Excellence: Take overall responsibility for the quality of technical work delivered, supporting and reviewing work from calculation teams.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualified Actuary with extensive post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical background in pensions consulting or retirement environments.
• Proven track record of leading client relationships and communicating confidently with trustees and pensions managers.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to help develop junior team member
