Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out trunking deliveries between depots and distribution centres
- Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods
- Load and unload vehicles using a forklift where required
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Adhere to all road transport and health & safety regulations
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance preferred)
- Previous trunking or HGV driving experience
- Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A professional and flexible approach to work
