About the role
Zest Education is recruiting for an experienced Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant to work mornings only at a welcoming primary school in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident supporting upper KS2 pupils and looking for a consistent role through to the end of the academic year.
The school is looking for a TA who can hit the ground running, support learning effectively, and build strong relationships with pupils in Years 5 and 6.
About the Role
- Mornings only (part‑time)
- Supporting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils
- Start date: September
- Ongoing ideally until the end of the academic year
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver targeted support
- Supporting small groups and individual learners
- Helping prepare resources and assist with classroom routines

- Strong understanding of upper KS2 curriculum
- Confident supporting pupils with varying abilities
