Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant

Zest Education is recruiting for an experienced Year 5/6 Teaching Assistant to work mornings only at a welcoming primary school in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident supporting upper KS2 pupils and looking for a consistent role through to the end of the academic year.

The school is looking for a TA who can hit the ground running, support learning effectively, and build strong relationships with pupils in Years 5 and 6.

About the Role

• Mornings only (part‑time)
• Supporting Year 5 and Year 6 pupils
• Start date: September
• Ongoing ideally until the end of the academic year
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver targeted support
• Supporting small groups and individual learners
• Helping prepare resources and assist with classroom routines
