About the role
Office Manager
Location: Aston, Birmingham
Start: September 2026
Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday – Friday
Zest Education are currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Office Manager to join a thriving Primary School in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the school office, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and well managed.
- Line-manage administrative staff and support their development.
- Maintain accurate records, safeguarding documentation and compliance processes.
- Lead on attendance reporting, admissions administration and key operational tasks.
- Provide high-quality support to senior leaders, including diary management and correspondence.
- Act as first point of contact for parents and visitors.
- Support with HR Administration including diary management and recruitment coordination.
You Will Need:
- An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to complete a new one)
- Ideally previous experience in a school setting with knowledge of school systems (SIMS/Arbor/ Bromcom)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced school environment.
- A positive, team-focused approach and commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
