About the role
A welcoming primary school in Warwick now seeks a committed Teaching Assistant for a full‑time September start. As you begin this role, you take an active position in the classroom and support pupils with additional needs. You work closely with the class teacher and create a calm and structured learning space. Moreover, you guide pupils through daily tasks and help them build confidence and independence. Additionally, you encourage positive behaviour and support emotional regulation throughout the school day. Ultimately, you help every child feel valued, supported and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- SEND support through focused 1:1 and small‑group work
- Daily routines that maintain structure and consistency
- Positive behaviour to strengthen emotional development
- Adapted learning that helps pupils access the curriculum
- Team collaboration with teachers, the SENCO and support staff
What We’re Looking For
- SEND experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech needs
- Classroom experience in a primary setting
- Proactive approach with patience and enthusiasm
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full‑time availability from September
- Interest in Warwick roles within primary education
