Key Responsibilities:

As a Principal Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation by:

• Leading and managing a diverse range of surveying projects from inception to completion.


• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practises.


• Providing expert guidance and advice on surveying matters to internal teams and external stakeholders.


• Overseeing the preparation and presentation of reports, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered on time.


• Collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.


• Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A relevant degree in surveying or a related field.


• Chartered status with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS).


• Extensive experience in a surveying role, ideally within public services.


• Strong knowledge of surveying practises, legislation, and regulations.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.


• Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing teams and projects effectively.


• Please note due to the police vetting criteria you must have resided within the UK continuously at the time of application for at least 3 years.
