FLT Counterbalance Driver – Stoke-on-Trent

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Truck Driver, FLT Operator, or Forklift Truck Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:15 – 15:15

Rates of Pay:

• £13.20 – £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading goods
• Receiving and booking goods into the warehouse
• Checking incoming and outgoing stock for quantity and visual quality
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Moving stock to the correct warehouse locations
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required

Essential Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance Truck licence (in-house licences will also be considered for the right candidates)
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good spatial awareness
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience working as an FLT Counterbalance Driver within a warehouse environment

Training:

• FLT assessment prior to starting work
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
