VAN DRIVER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – Paisley

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Paisley.

Earn £13.00 per hour | Guaranteed Minimum of 8 Hours Paid Per Day | Monday to Friday | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start Available | Permanent Opportunity

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver, Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

  • 07:00 Starts

Rates of Pay

  • £13.00 per hour
  • Guaranteed Minimum of Eight Hours Paid Per Day

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Delivering goods to shops within the local area
  • Driving company vans safely and efficiently to multiple delivery locations
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying products
  • Supporting warehouse operations when required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Providing excellent customer service during deliveries

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No DR or DD endorsements (insurance restriction)
  • Previous van driving experience
  • The ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
  • A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work

  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
