We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Setter for a busy client based in Daventry. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Machines to produce precision component. You will need to have previous experience and be confident in operating machinery.

Hours of work: 16:00pm – 02:15am

Duties will include:

• Setting and programming CNC Milling machines

• Operate CNC milling and ensuring accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal or plastic parts.

• Monitor Machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

• Runiing the machine in line with he speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance

• Multi manning when necessary to support the performance & utilisation of our resources when machinery and suitable product types enable you to do so.

• Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite machinist or supervisor during shift handover.

• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace by ensuring a continuation of 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Systemise, Sustain).

• Ensure accurate completion of paperwork

• Work as part of a strong team, willing to fulfil other tasks and additional duties when requested.

• Follow all health and safety requirements at all times.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience and CNC Machine Setter

• Background working in an environment where attention to detail is important

• Automotive or other batch control industry experience

• Prior experience using measuring equipment

• FANUC and Heidenhain controls

• Engineering background (preferred)
