You'll guide candidates through the assessment process from initial contact through to final outcome. You'll review evidence, conduct professional discussions, and make informed, evidence-based decisions against CIMSPA's Chartered framework.

Working remotely and on a flexible sessional basis, you'll play a key role in upholding the standards that support professional recognition across the sport and physical activity sector.

What you'll be doing

  • Arranging introductory meetings with Chartered candidates.
  • Reviewing portfolios, case studies, CPD records and supporting evidence.
  • Conducting professional discussions and competency-based assessments.
  • Making impartial and evidence-based Pass or Refer decisions.
  • Providing detailed, constructive feedback to candidates.
  • Recording and securely uploading assessment outcomes.
  • Working with internal quality assurance processes to maintain consistency.
  • Attending assessor standardisation sessions and training opportunities.
  • Supporting verification activities where required.
