Commercial Account Executive

We are working with a highly respected global insurance broking group to recruit an experienced commercial insurance professional to join its successful team in West Sussex.

Working closely with Client Directors, you’ll manage the day-to-day insurance requirements of a portfolio of medium-sized direct clients, delivering a responsive, professional service. This is an opportunity to build meaningful client relationships, take ownership of your accounts and develop your technical knowledge within a specialist team handling some of the market’s most complex property risks.

The opportunity

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you’ll play an integral part in ensuring clients receive an efficient, accurate and high-quality service throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Co-ordinating renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business activity.
• Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms, obtain quotations and confirm appropriate cover.
• Responding to client queries and resolving outstanding account matters.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
• Managing deadlines and service standards while maintaining excellent client relationships.

About you

We are looking for a confident, motivated insurance professional who takes pride in delivering excellent client service and enjoys working collaboratively.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience in commercial insurance account handling, ideally in property, real estate or a broad range of commercial portfolio.
• A good understanding of renewals, MTAs, insurer negotiations and policy administration.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A professional, personable approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
• The confidence to take ownership of your accounts and resolve client queries.
• Experience with Acturis would be ideal.
