Analytical Group Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading global medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturer to recruit an Analytical Group Manager to lead its QC Chemistry, Analytical Development and Laboratory Compliance teams.

This is an opportunity for an experienced chemistry professional to combine technical expertise with people leadership, overseeing laboratory operations and supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare products.

The role:

• Lead and develop laboratory teams.
• Oversee analytical testing, method development, validation and transfer.
• Manage laboratory workloads to support production and product release.
• Ensure quality, compliance and data integrity.
• Lead investigations, support audits and drive laboratory improvements.

You will have:

• Degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.
• Extensive analytical laboratory experience, including staff management.
• Knowledge of EP/USP methods.
• Experience with equipment such as HPLC, GC, IC, ICP and AA.
