Senior Software Engineer

Full Stack Software Engineer Location: Gloucestershire  Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Please note - To be considered for this position, you must hold the highest level of government clearance.  The Opportunity Copello is working with a growing defence business, who are looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to work on complex, mission-critical projects.  You'll play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining modern software applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve challenging technical problems using the latest technologies. Key Responsibilities •    Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable software applications. •    Build and integrate REST APIs, backend services and modern user interfaces. •    Write clean, maintainable code using test-driven development principles. •    Translate technical requirements into robust software solutions. •    Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups and reviews. •    Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. •    Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience •    Commercial experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot. •    Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js. •    Strong understanding of REST APIs and software integration. •    Experience with testing frameworks and Agile development practices. •    A collaborative approach with excellent problem-solving skills. •    Passion for learning new technologies and developing innovative solutions.
