The duties of this role are varied: supporting students on a 1-1 basis; delivering skills workshops; engaging and working with local, national, and international employers and organisations; attending Careers Fairs and other employability events; and administration to ensure student placement activity is monitored.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- An understanding of student placements in the Higher Education sector
- Experience working with students in an education environment
- Experience delivering workshops
- Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Good administration skills, with ability to use MS Office and databases to a high standard
This is a fixed term, full-time post (37 hours per week) until end of August 2027 (with the possibility of becoming permanent after that date) and will primarily be based at our Moulsecoomb and City campuses. The role is suitable for hybrid working, however during term times staff will be required to work on-campus as much as needed to support student-facing activities.
If you wish to discuss the post prior to making an application, please contact Vicky Horder at [email removed]
