Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative (Rotating Days)£30,000 per annum | Monday-Friday | Immediate StartWe are currently recruiting for a Timber Yard / Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and growing business. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role working with timber products in a busy warehouse and yard environment.Shift PatternRotating weekly shifts:Week 1: 5:00am - 2:00pmWeek 2: 1:00pm - 10:00pmMonday to FridaySalary & Benefits£30,000 per year21 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysFull in-house forklift training providedStable, long-term opportunity with a reputable employerThe RolePicking and preparing timber orders from pick sheetsManual handling and movement of timber sheetsLoading, unloading and transporting materials using forkliftsMoving timber products manually onto forklifts when requiredMaintaining a safe and organised working environmentAccurately reading and following picking instructionsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing or similar environmentForklift experience is essential (Counterbalance and/or Reach)Expired or in-house forklift licences are accepted - an active licence is not required as full in-house training will be providedPhysically fit and comfortable with regular manual handlingGood basic Maths and English skillsAbility to read and understand pick sheets accuratelyStable work history with proven reliabilityLocal candidates are preferred, although this is not essential
