About the role

Business Change Lead – Digital Transformation

Day Rate: Up to £570 per day
Sector: Government / Digital Transformation

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Lead to support a major government digital transformation programme, driving user adoption, business readiness and community engagement throughout beta delivery.

This role will focus on ensuring users and stakeholders are prepared for new digital services, supporting the transition from development into live use and embedding sustainable change across the organisation and its user community.

The successful candidate will lead business change activities across private and public beta phases, ensuring effective communications, training, user testing and adoption tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business change activities to support the successful adoption and implementation of new digital services.

  • Develop and deliver user adoption strategies across private and public beta phases.

  • Coordinate user testing and gather feedback to inform service improvements.

  • Design and deliver training and upskilling activities to prepare users for new processes and technology.

  • Develop and implement stakeholder communications and engagement plans.

  • Build and nurture user communities, encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Track and measure user adoption, engagement and readiness, using insights to identify areas requiring further support.

  • Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure business change activities align with programme milestones and objectives.

  • Support the transition from beta delivery towards wider adoption, ensuring users are equipped and confident to use the service effectively.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading business change within complex transformation or digital delivery programmes.

  • Strong understanding of user adoption, business readiness and change management.

  • Experience supporting private and public beta phases.

  • Experience coordinating user testing, training, communications and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ability to develop and deliver upskilling initiatives and build engaged user communities.

  • Experience tracking adoption, measuring engagement and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a proactive Business Change Lead who can bring together people, processes and technology to drive successful adoption. You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving digital environment, engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and ensuring that change is embedded effectively rather than simply delivered.

If you have a strong background in business change, digital adoption and community engagement, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a major government transformation programme.

Reasonable Adjustments:

Respect and equality are core values to us. We are proud of the diverse and inclusive community we have built, and we welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and perspectives. Our success is driven by our people, united by the spirit of partnership to deliver the best resourcing solutions for our clients.
