About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of two shell units on a retail park in Mansfield, which will become a veterinary practice and a children's day nursery.

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of fit-out delivery, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across both units.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

• Take full ownership of site health & safety, including RAMS, inductions, inspections and compliance.

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials and deliveries.

• Oversee fit-out works, including M&E installations, partitions, ceilings, finishes and associated works.

• Manage programme sequencing and coordinate multiple trades.

• Monitor progress, resolve site issues and maintain quality standards.

• Oversee snagging, inspections and final handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering fit-out projects.

• Strong health & safety knowledge and site management experience - essential.

• Good understanding of fit-out sequencing and M&E coordination.

• SMSTS certification.

• CSCS card.

• First Aid at Work qualification.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage subcontractors and drive the programme.

Experience delivering veterinary practices, nurseries, healthcare or education facilities would be advantageous.

We are looking for a hands-on, organised and reliable Site Manager who can take ownership of the project, maintain high health & safety standards and ensure both units are delivered efficiently and to a high-quality finish.
