The Role

As a Lidl Customer Assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming, and never be bored. You’ll take pride in going the extra mile to keep the store clean, tidy, and organized, working closely with your retail colleagues and making sure every customer receives the service they deserve.

With the right training, you'll have plenty of opportunities to progress—you could even become a Freshness, Non-Food, or Bakery Specialist!

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a Lidl expert, helping customers with their questions, queries, and requests.

• Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store.

• Passionately provide excellent, friendly customer service.

• Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.

• Expertly merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly manner and a smile.

• The flexibility to start a shift early (from 5:00 AM) or finish late (up to 11:00 PM).

• A positive approach to changing priorities throughout the day.

• Drive and passion to work hard and make your store a success.

• Competitive Pay: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour, plus enhanced rates for bank holidays and night shifts.
